Announcements :

May 19 we will hold a Rummage/Yard Sale at the American Legion Post 222 from 9-1. All proceeds from this sale will go to help the Kozloski family. We are also currently selling flower bulbs, we will have installation of officers on May 10 at our regular meeting. We will be having a Women's Self Defense Course on May 30 from 6:30-8:30 pm at Personal Best Karate, 250 East Main St. Norton. Pre-registration required, call Call: Tricia McGurr @339-236-0958 or email: Yarxy@aol.com. Donation is $10. October we will begin selling Memorial Lights. November we will have Santa letters and Gift Calendar sale.

Activities :

Annual Memorial Light Tree (October/November) School Scholarship (May) - Donations to Lions Eye Research and other projects (January) We raise money to help youngsters go to Diabetes Camps. We assist individuals in getting eyeglasses and hearing aids as needed. We collect eyeglasses and hearing aids to pass on to needy individuals in other countries and here in USA. We also sponsor a Peace Poster Contest and Youth Speech Contest. When called upon, we have ran fund-raisers for community members with devasting illnesses or circumstances that need our assistance. We visit nursing/rest homes to play bingo and bring a little smile to the residents faces.
